Where Ideas Come to Life.
A full day of hands-on inquiry, creative building, and bilingual storytelling. Every Friday, 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM.
One full day. Two powerful experiences. Endless curiosity.
Fridays at iBis are dedicated to our Exploration and STEM Lab, a dynamic space where children investigate, create, and bring ideas to life. The day is organized around two interconnected experiences: STEM and Story Lab.
Every Friday session builds on the learning from earlier in the week, deepening understanding through doing. Sessions culminate in something meaningful: a creative product, a collaborative build, or a simple presentation that allows children to share their thinking and make their learning visible. This is purposeful, inquiry-based learning aligned with academic goals — not unstructured free time.
STEM Challenges
Children design, build, and problem-solve through science experiments, engineering challenges, and open-ended inquiry projects.
Story Lab
Children act out and create stories to strengthen language, comprehension, and confidence in both English and Spanish.
Bilingual Throughout
English and Spanish are woven through every STEM challenge and Story Lab session — language learning through doing.
Inquiry-Based Learning
Children investigate, analyze, create, and communicate — building the habits of mind that make learning stick.
Mixed-Age Collaboration
Children attend as a mixed-age group, bringing different strengths and perspectives to every project.
Visible Learning
Every Friday culminates in something meaningful — a build, a creative product, or a presentation that makes thinking visible.

"Friday is one of our favorite days to show families around."
Come see what happens when children are given the time, space, and guidance to truly dig in. Whether your child is a builder, a storyteller, a scientist, or all three — Fridays at iBis give them space to explore what they are capable of.
