Children learning at iBis Learning Center

"If cost is a concern, please reach out before assuming iBis is not within reach."

We would rather find a way to make it work than see a great family walk away. A conversation costs nothing — and we are committed to working with every family who wants to be part of our community.

The TEFA Program — What Families Need to Know.

The Texas Education Freedom Account (TEFA) program allows eligible Texas families to use state funds toward private school tuition. iBis Learning is actively working toward becoming an approved TEFA provider.

Higher Funding for Private School Students

The TEFA program provides significantly higher funding for students enrolled in an accredited private school than for homeschool families. Because iBis is a licensed private school — not a homeschool — enrolled students would qualify for the higher funding tier once approval is in place.

iBis Is Actively Pursuing Approval

iBis is working toward meeting the requirements for TEFA approval, which include accreditation, a two-year operating history, and annual assessments for grades 3 through 12. We expect to have more information to share in the coming year.

Stay Informed

Families interested in using TEFA funds are encouraged to contact us for the most current status on our application and timeline.

iBis is a licensed private school with certified teachers — enrolled students would qualify for the higher TEFA funding tier.

We are actively working toward TEFA approval and will update families as new information becomes available. Contact us for the most current status.
